港姐面試港女文投訴信事件發生於2009年5月27日及5月28日，當時《蘋果日報》娛樂版報道，報館收到兩篇自稱是香港小姐首輪面試佳麗 Lucy的英文投訴電郵，投訴當日面試時遭評判不禮貌對待。投訴信內容主要以英文編寫，但間中夾雜著一些中文單詞，沒有甚麼英文文法，故此被判斷全文以「港女文」編寫。

報道謂Lucy自稱為中七畢業生，但其行文水平之低劣引來網民恥笑，並認為她是典型港女的模範例子。

我是 Lucy, I went to Miss Hong Kong first interview. Wah d judges very not polite and not nice law. Today I see a megazine saying this year's Girls so ugly. I saw many good and pretty girls there but they didn't choose ja ma. Don't choose mei suen law but the judge in first interview-- most very not polite to many young girls and to to me law. I only 18 the judges ask me to"why join Miss HK go and why not study la u only F7 ja wor how can fright with other wor." Also say my English bad… hurt die me. Ho La, other girl tell me la, she study in University ok ga dou but little fat or short then the judge(woman) said " why you look fat or so short!" wah ho hurt ga ma. One girl is a博士 student ar very high level and very nice ga dou cant get in second interview la. We think she will be in ga but she said no law. You can search her pic and my pic to see la. She gum high level duo ng dak, gum me ng duk duo rite gei but i think the whole choosing is not fair law, choose model mei? young yao inch', high study level yao inch, short yao inch… They onky choose rich girl law so bad. 「	Dear Apple Daily News Editor I am Lucy XXX. I went to the first round of interviews for Miss Hong Kong yesterday and found the judges very rude. I read in a magazine today that the qualities of the applicants were very low. However, I saw many girls who were beautiful and of a high standard at the interview. They failed to advance to the next round because of the judges' unreasonable judging. The judges treated me and other applicants horribly, despite me being only 18 years old. The judges questioned why I wanted to enter the pageant and not continue with my education; they also asked how I could compete with other girls since my education is only at F7 level. They ended the interview by saying my English was poor, which upset me. One applicant told me that she is an university student. She was a little chubby and slightly short. A female judge asked her, "How come you look so fat and short?" What a cruel thing to say to the girl! She wasn't selected for the next round. Another applicant who is studying for her doctorate had a great attitude and was friendly to everyone. We all thought she will definitely go through to the second round, but she told us she didn't. I understand why I wasn't selected, but here's a girl who is educated, pretty and with a lovely attitude that didn't make it. I wonder what were the judges' criteria of choosing applicants for the second stage of Miss Hong Kong? There seems to be no standard; they reject you if you're young, if you are educated, or if you're short. Are they choosing models? It seems like they're only selecting rich girls for the pageant. If they want girls who are educated and tall, why not make it clear on the application form? The other girls and I didn't go there to be insulted/ridiculed. 在高登討論區，有網民認為這篇電郵內容是Goodest English；有網民則認為外國人見到這篇電郵，會不明所以。但亦有網民覺得她使用港式英語不錯，因為她表達得很好又夠傳神；用正統英語無法表達到那種情緒。

事件跟進

在2009年6月3日的《蘋果日報》娛樂版，跟進了一名「打扮成日式年輕女性形象，擺著心形姿勢」的面試女性。據報道表示，該名面試女性為23歲的Michelle，聲稱為一名銀行家。Michelle覺得這次面試塞翁失馬，焉知非福：她認為參選港姐可以增加人生經驗，雖然落選也未必是損失，同時有很多朋友建議她加入模特兒公司當模特兒。
